JMP Artisan Perfumes is a private project of the Polish independent perfumer Jakub Pietrynka. The artist closed his fascination with the art of perfumery and a passion for creating in minimalistic, classic bottles. The inspiration for the fragrances he created was a traditional French perfumery school, as well as love for fragrance experiments.
The idea of the brand he created is to oppose commercialization that embraces the world of perfumes. Aromatic compositions are treated as art enclosed in bottles. JMP Artisan Perfumes assumes that fragrances are worth interpreting, just like works of art. The belief that various fields of artistic creativity interact has led to a confrontation of perfumery with other types of art.
The first fragrance line is called Duftart Collection. The fragrances enclosed in bottles have been transformed into paintings by Justyna Neyman, precursor of the duftart trend in Poland.
The second fragrance line is called Composite Collection. The fragrances enclosed in bottles have been interpreted by the Polish representative of the surrealist photography trend - Dariusz Klimczak.
